if the size is going to be reduced from the original 10gb to 9gb then "meh". Grand turismo uses a very special compressing format in the game files though, actually the game is just a massive single file or a couple, so dunno. probably there are going to be lot of other files that overwrites previous versions Is not a huge reduction, but is notable, and this is just the start. this file exists in every update, and we are completly sure we just need only one (from the last update). Just thinking in the EBOOT.BIN i dont know how much is the EBOOT.BIN for grand turismo, but let say is 25mb. Personally i would try to do what i mentioned in my previous post, if the total size of the updates is 10gb (and are a lot), i guess worths a try to see how much is reduced in total size by cummulating everything in a single PKG In the other with PKGDIR the PKG's are displayed with an icon for every PKG located at bottom of the main game icon, and can be installed optionallyĪnd the other with PS3_EXTRA follows the same rules than PKGDIR, but the icons are displayed in that "floating" menu like the one used for the "what's news"
